The Best Way to Farm Captain Coins in Destiny 2

The purpose of this event is to collect captain’s coins as quickly as possible. Thus, time is of the essence. The Kings Fall raid looks tempting as a good group can complete it in less than an hour. But you can only run it three times a week, once per character.

No, for the most efficient farming we recommend Widow’s Walk Lost Sector in the EDZ. Once you do this, it can be cleaned up in about a minute or two. So, it all comes down to how much you are willing to squeeze.

  • The entire Kings Fall raid: 340 treasures
  • Ketchcrash: 50 Treasures
  • Expedition: 50 Treasures
  • Gifts of eternity: 35 treasures
  • Lost Sector: 14 treasures
  • Public event (heroic): 10 treasures
  • Public Destination Chest: Three Treasures

In general, the idea of an event is more enticing than the actual execution. It’s the end of the season and players are rightly tired of the content. It’s a bit silly to force them to keep digging the same content for an area they’re only likely to visit once, just to see the changes. But that’s how Destiny 2’s attraction works.
