The star of Star Wars Diego Luna explains these days in EW to have chained for a year and a half: “We just started production and it’s like I haven’t actually stopped! I think I finished the first season only two or three weeks ago, to complete the Spanish dub for Latin American countries and the United States. I recently finished it, and at the same time, I am reading and meeting for the new season. We don’t even have time to celebrate the success of the series! That’s the big difference with this serial format, compared to the movie (Rogue One), is that we never stop working. I don’t think Tony Gilroy will stop writing or doing post-production or anything for the show…Until it’s fully finished, we’ll keep going.”

Diego Luna nevertheless specifies that at the end of the finale, when Cassian officially joins Luthen, “he realized how unlivable this life under the Empire is. His time in prison was crucial for that. Prison is where he realizes what life means to the Empire – the life of the people and his own life. In this galaxy, can we still call it a life? And Maarva’s words inspire him in the finale. He wasn’t ready to understand until then. He needed to witness everything. that…“
