By dint of ironing Friends looping on Netflix or elsewhere, fans end up finding mistakes and dumplings that went unnoticed at the time.

This one seems to have stood the test of time oddly… Yet it’s massive: Monica Geller, played by Courtney Coxmakes a huge misinterpretation in season 4, in the episode “The one who loses the bets”.

But Rachel refuses. So Monica insists: “We have to leave. If we had lost, we would have demanded the departure of the birds…

A big blunder that this dialogue (as notified by a fan on Reddit). It’s the opposite: the girls have indeed lost. And they would have asked the boys to fire the chickens if they had won…

The sentence uttered by Monica at this moment therefore makes no sense! And in the heat of the move, no one really noticed. Neither Joey, nor Chandler, nor Rachel, nor the director, nor the editors…
