The area contains three crystals, with only two needed to light up the monument. First, the parasites on the right must be eliminated in order to free one of the crystals.

After that, go to the right side and take out the crystal to remove the light bridge. Then throw Kratos Leviathan Ax on the Dawnstone. The ax rebounds, tearing apart the parasite blocking the path. Now you can bring the crystal back to restore the bridge of light.

Now go back to the left side, get the free crystal, go to one of the two mechanisms and use it to light up the first part.

For the second mechanism, take one of the two remaining crystals and use it to light up the statue of Freyr.

When all this is done, the favor “Freyr’s Favor” is completed and you can collect the two halves of the Alfeim Wasteland key to open the desert gate in God of War Ragnarök.
