If you want to make quick money in Pokémon Crimson and Crimson, you should get the coin amulet right away. Here’s how to get it.

Pokemon Crimson and Crimson How to get the Coin Amulet - Pokémon Crimson and Crimson: How to get the Coin AmuletThere are tons of items to buy in Pokémon Crimson and Crimson. Although the options when it comes to choosing clothes are fairly limited, there are plenty of accessories including glasses, backpacks, gloves, shoes, socks and even phone cases. There’s a fair amount of customization, and you’ll need quite a bit of cash to keep up with all the Pokéballs, potions, and other items that can be bought from Paldea’s many shops.

Although it’s pretty easy to make money by collecting all the items you find in the world, one of the best ways to increase cash flow is with the Coin Amulet. This item gives significantly more Pokédollars when defeating a trainer. If a Pokémon carries it and participates in the battle at least once, the prize money is doubled. That can make a big difference, especially when you’re competing in more difficult arenas and trainer battles later in the game.

How to get the Coin Amulet in Pokémon Crimson and Crimson

To obtain the Coin Amulet, defeat five trainers in West Zone 3 and then speak to the Pokémon League representative, which is near the Mesclarra (East) Poké Center. The easiest way is to head from the Mesclarra (East) Pokécenter along the road that stretches north-east of the city towards the southwest base of the Montanata. There are about 4 trainers along this path, with some standing off the path on the grass to fight. All you have to do is defeat a total of five trainers located anywhere in West Zone 3. Once this is done, and then returning to the Pokémon League representative in the Pokécenter Mesclarra (East), you will receive the coin amulet.

You can equip one of the Pokémon with this coin amulet and receive double the prize money if you defeat opponents. It should be noted that the Pokemon possessing the coin amulet must participate in the battle. That’s why it makes sense to give it to the main Pokémon. Once the Pokemon is thrown into battle, it can be swapped out for any other Pokemon. It just has to have been involved in the fight at some point.
