Pokémon Crimson & Crimson: learn and memorize moves later

In Pokemon Crimson and Crimson, how do you change a Pokemon’s attacks? Can you relearn moves later, and can a Pokemon remember moves you’ve forgotten? This may be the question for any player of the new Pokémon editions for the Nintendo Switch, who has already played a few hours and has already caught and leveled up a few Pokémon. As the level increases, Pokémon learn new attacks, and you can choose whether you want to learn the attack and which attack you want to replace it with. As always, sooner or later you would like to re-skill and change attacks. But how exactly does it work and which NPC do you have to visit for it?

Learn and memorize attacks

If you are unhappy with a Pokemon’s attacks, you can easily change that in Pokemon Crimson and Crimson. The “Report” menu allows you to manage Pokémon attacks at any time and remember an old attack and also use TMs. Requalification is completely free and can be done at any time.

  1. Open the in-game menu using the X button and then select the Pokemon you are learning an old move from.
  2. You can now use the context menu to open the “Report” and then use the directional pad to move once to the right in the “Stats and attacks” tab.
  3. Here you can now use the A Button to open another menu and select “Recall Old Attack”, “Forget Current Attack”, and “Use TMs”.

As mentioned above, the attack booster is completely free and can be used anytime using the feature described above. You can also do this anywhere in nature and you don’t have to go to a specific NPC or building.

Hint: This is how you can then change the character’s appearance in Pokémon Crimson and Crimson.
