After Ubisoft postponed its settler reboot in March 2022 indefinitely after criticism of the beta, the next attempt is now following.

On February 17, 2023, The Settlers: New Alliances for the PC will appear, the publisher announced in the evening.

Settles on new platforms

Aside from the PC, the game is in the works for other platforms: Ubisoft names Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and Amazon Luna. However, the release for consoles is not expected until later.

For The Settlers: New Alliances, Ubisoft promises a total of three modes: solo campaign, extreme mode and skirmish. In the campaign you will experience the story of the Elari who had to flee their homeland and search for a new home.

Extreme mode, on the other hand, lets you play scenarios “where numerous modifiers and conditions make the AI an even more challenging opponent. Adaptability is key in this new mode, which will put even the best players to the test, whether alone or together with friends.”

That leaves the battle in which you compete alone or cooperatively against the AI. Up to eight players are supported here, and there are twelve maps at launch.

In addition to the Standard Edition, there is also a Deluxe Edition with additional in-game content, a digital art book and the soundtrack.
