The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be coming to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on December 14 via a next-gen upgrade. The upgrade does a lot of good – and then there’s the Nilfgaard armor

When the first pictures from the set of Netflix’s Witcher series appeared on the net, fans were amazed at the Nilfgaardian armor, which just looked strangely wrinkled. In a trailer for the Complete Edition, this controversial armor can be seen for a tiny glimpse. It’s from an early cutscene.

But there is still hope, because it could well be that the Netflix outfit is only an optional feature and can be turned on or off in the settings. There is also an alternative clothing style for Geralt in the Netflix design, but this one looks much better.

But don’t get too wrinkled, because other than that, there’s not much to grumble about. The upgrade gives you full DualSense support, improved textures, buildings, landscapes and reflections, ray tracing, FSR 2.1 and DLSS 3, a photo mode, new camera options, cross-progression and much more.
