Where can I find Body Press (TM089) in Pokémon Crimson and Violet?

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet contain many TMs, also known as technical moves, that players can find in the Paldea region. The game even added a new crafting feature that allows players to gather materials to create powerful TMs in the Pokemon Center. If you’re lucky you’ll stumble upon the TM you’re looking for, but since the world is so big it can be tricky. A powerful TM is the Body Press, intended for Fighting-type Pokémon. Read on for the exact location of Body Press and the materials you’ll need if you decide to make more in the future.

Position of Body Press TM in Pokemon Crimson and Crimson

Body Press is where the user “attacks by slamming their body on the target. The higher the user’s Defense stat, the greater the damage this move deals.” This is extremely helpful when fighting a Pokemon with high Defense, making the fight a bit easier for your party. The Body Press TM is located in the Southern Province (Area 4) on top of a hill as shown in the image below.

At the top of the hill you will notice a bright yellow item: the Body Press TM. You can use this on one of your party members by going into your menu and selecting the correct Pokemon.

Materials needed to craft Body Press

Once Body Press TM becomes available after originally finding it in the world, you can craft it at the Pokemon Center. This is great if you are a combative trainer so you can apply this to everyone in your party. Below are the materials needed to make the Body Press TM .

  • 8,000 League Points
  • x5 Cetoddle Fat
  • x3 Hawlucha Down
  • x3 Farmer’s Blade

League Points can be obtained by completing tasks and objectives such as raids and battles against Gym Leaders. You must find the other necessary materials on your journey through the Paldea region by battling specific Pokémon.
